You might try changing the battery or batteries but if that doesn't help, either the LCD display, its 'driver' or a delicate contact strip has failed.
That last problem is better checked by a tech but if the warranty is expired, you might try it yourself.
You will have to take the scale apart and study the LCD display.
These are typically contacted with a flaky silicone rubber strip with fine wires embedded that create a connection between nearly invisible metalization on the LCD module and contacts on the epoxy board.
If you don't care to try that, check with Conair to see if they even offer service on the scale.
Since it almost certainly comes from China, they may not even service those under any warranty but just throw them out and replace with new.
Such is life now.
