My tv will not come on
Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience.

Hi have a hitachi c29-f100,
Hello
I'm not sure about what preset option you are asking for. If it is to reset the parentia passcode reset; key in '7777' will reset the set to its factory preset code '0000'. You can reset the passcode afterwards. If you wish to picture, sound etc; to return them to factory preset, select each window, hilight the reset option and pres enter. This will reset the that window settiing to its factory preset. OK.
I get no sound on channel 7 and channel 4. All of
If no sound only on two channels problem is either in the set or a cable or sat box attached to it.
Note that if either the set or the box is set to SAP (secondary audio program) it will blank English language.
Problem is not the set, it is setting for audio either in the set or if using a box of some kind, in that box.
If this was helpful please rate this solution "very helpful" as I do this here for free.

Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. Unfortunately it cannot be
corrected with the remote. To start with try giving the unit a tight slap and
see if it reacts, if it does then this is happening due to cold solder joints. If
it does not then you have to open the back of the unit and check for I005. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.
Thanks

Sound, but black screen
you have lost the video, either because the vertical section or the deflection circuit stopped working. if the power supply is independent from the others circuits is going to work and the video does not
Black display with a horizontal white line in the middle.
Middle going across the screen from left to right??
This unit is plagued with bad solder connections in the comb filter board and flatpack underneath the comb filter board. These connections can cause any odd number of problems in video display. If it is that it's not expensive - virtually no parts. If it's a single line across the screen could also be the vertical circuit involved.
My suggestion is to have it estimated at a reputable shop and take it to them rather than the more expensive pu/del charges.
If you would like go to
http://www.nesda.com/locator/state_search.php and locate a servicer from there. Kinda like going to the AMA to find a doctor...
Hope this helps!

Looks like
1. A Cold solder in the Video Output stage power supply.
2. A bad Electrolytic Capacitor in the above Video Output stage.
I generally do not waste time in attempting to locate faulty capacitors. There will be only 6-8 pf them in the above stage / section,m and the klot of them would collectivelyt not cost more than 3-4 $ equivalent, in india. Just blindly replace the lot, and the set is ready in 30 mins.
Dunno how much they will cost in your country. Try to look for a 100mfd, 160V Capacitor. Close your eyes and replace. generally does the trick.

Change input on Hitachi LCD TV model LE65K6R9 without remote?
I'd unplug/disconnect the Roku and after 30 seconds try the control button on the back. If you can change the input do so, then plug the Roku back in. Until you use the input button on the back to change input to Roku, you should be able to use the other buttons on the back to control the TV. If this does not work, unplug both the TV and the Roku. Wait maybe a minute, then plug the TV back in and follow the above instructions. Here are other alternatives: Using physical buttons: You can find the physical buttons on the left or right back side of the Hitachi TV. Using these keys, you can change the input, adjust the volume, or turn on Hitachi TV without a remote. Press the Input button located at the back or side of the Hitachi TV. The list of connected sources will appear on the TV screen12.
Using external devices: Connect a wireless keyboard or mouse to your Hitachi TV and change the input1.
Buy a universal remote: You can buy a universal remote to control your Hitachi TV and change the source.

How to remove small popup bottom left of Hitachi smart tv screen.
A little popup that appears in the lower left corner of your Hitachi smart TV screen may be related to one of the TV's settings or capabilities. You can attempt the following actions to get rid of it:
1.Investigate notifications:
Smart TVs occasionally show notifications for different events or upgrades. If there are any notifications, look for them and then clear them by following the on-screen directions.
2.Applications and Inputs:
Make sure all programmes and inputs are closed. The popup may occasionally be connected to an input source or app, which can be closed to get rid of it.
3.On-Screen Display (OSD) Off:
There might be an OSD option in the settings menu on Hitachi TVs. Try disabling OSD or changing its settings to see if it gets rid of the popup.
Verify any software/firmware updates:
4.Make that the most recent firmware or software upgrades are installed on your TV. Pop-up windows may appear as a result of faults in outdated software. Look for a software update option in the TV's settings menu.
5.Firmware Reset:
You can conduct a factory reset on your TV if the problem persists after you've tried various troubleshooting measures. The default values for all settings will be restored as a result. Make cautious to back up any crucial data before doing a factory reset because doing so will also remove any customised settings and data.
6.Message Hitachi Support here:
If none of the aforementioned fixes the problem, it's a good idea to get in touch with Hitachi customer service or refer to the TV's user manual for detailed instructions on how to get rid of the popup.
Regarding External Devices:
7.The popup may be related to any external devices you have connected to your TV, like a cable box or game console. Make sure that these gadgets are operating properly and that the settings have been changed as necessary.
Keep in mind that depending on the type and software version of your Hitachi smart TV, the precise processes and options may change. For instructions unique to your TV model, consult the user manual, or go to the Hitachi website for further help options.
