sounds like a faulty programmer

we had a very similar problem, our machine is only 12 months old and the filter at the bottom front of the machine has a small fan in it the filter was blocked with a coin blocking the fan from turning after reomoving the coin the fan was able to turn and the machine functioned correctly. hope this helps. tony

If you have checked all of these then the only other explanation is that the pump motor is faulty and needs replacing or there is a fault with the wiring or Programmer.

Try some heat to the screw with a propane torch , or a hot air dryer, and try spraying some WD40 on the screw. it should be a normal right hand thread.

my washing machine is making funny noise before it starts and today it will not start at all just the funny noise

this could either b the motor brushes or the timer check the brushes first they r mounted on either side of the motor unplug the machine b4 u start good luck

Hi, we had something similar happen just before christmas. Our machine seemed to finish a cycle and started making beeping noise with end light flashing. Then when I switched it back on to do another load it just started beeping with end light flashing no matter what cycle was selected. Engineer has been out and advised that it is a fault with the motherboard so has ordered another one. Hope this is of some help. Machine was tricity bendix aw1400w.
