Tricity Bendix AW1400W Won't spin or agitate.

My Tricity Bendix AW1400W washing machine fills with water and drains, but does not spin. Checked drum belt, okay. Tried clearing all pipes. Selected spin cycle and manually moved dial. Start/Pause and door lights flash and spin button is lit. Then end button lights and machine makes beeping noise.

Brushes okay. Opened timer and control assembly. Inspected electronic panel and found the Triac(the device clipped to metal heat sink with three connections to panel) was poorly inserted and needed inserting correctly and re-soldering. Phew! ?:-)

Found fan belt on the inside floor of the washing machine. Can you tell me how to put it back please !

Thanks stuart888. 5 years later same problem so opened timer housing and found a bad solder connection to one of the relays. Re-soldered and back in action.

Tricity Bendix AW1260W - drum won't turn - 5 beep error repeats

Washer motor control board failure is the likely problem, also check all connectors for signs of burning. Also test the washer motor.

Machine will fill and turn slowly but will not

Check motor capacitor first.Try moving the drum and see there is no extra friction. If your washer has got braking mechanism check the brakes also. ( I have no idea about this model regarding break)

Tricity Bendix AW1400W front load. Water leaks onto floor (a lot). Hoses dry. Pump and drain hose OK. Running the program causes leak. Pouring water into soap dispenser drawer causes leak. Just pouring...

Ether the washer is over filling or has warn out the seals. If it has been abused (overloaded) it needs serious work. other wise the sensor may be stuck. Try 1/2 cup of vinegar with a load and see if that cleans the sensor travel area past the drum but inside the tub. This is a common problem for an old machine. Best leak is on the door and you may be able to tighten the screws but be careful it could mis aligne it so tighten a small amount and test by closeing the door. Do this at least twice before turning the screws hard.

Motor won't spin, with flashing "End" light and 3 beeps

this should be a blocked pump or waste pipe or pressure switch ( round grey disk with small pipe off the drum)

Tricity bendix aw1400w will not spin

We had a similar problem, where it washed okay but didn't spin and just 'beeped' with end light flashing. When the drum was empty it was not moving round very freely.
Try unplugging the machine from the electricity. Then take top off machine off so you can see the casing outside the drum. There's a small rubber tube on top. If you disconnect that you can look through into the drum. Try turning the drum round slowly while looking through the hole. We found a sock wedged in which we managed to pull out through the hole (not easy and don't expect the sock to come out in one piece).
It worked - and we've had to repeat the procedure a couple of times now. Think I must be putting too much in the machine in 1 go, although there's always space at the top.

Tricity bendix aw1400w

not only check filter but when filter out check for foreign objects fouling pump impellor. (bra wires are the favourite) if pump impellor not visible, then put onto drain and listen for a low humming noise in vicinity of pump. this confirms that pump is powered but jammed. all you can do after that is to check continuity of pump and check there is power to pump when on drain - assumes you have a multimeter

My tricity bendix washing machine flashing and beeping end light

Hi, we had something similar happen just before christmas. Our machine seemed to finish a cycle and started making beeping noise with end light flashing. Then when I switched it back on to do another load it just started beeping with end light flashing no matter what cycle was selected. Engineer has been out and advised that it is a fault with the motherboard so has ordered another one. Hope this is of some help. Machine was tricity bendix aw1400w.
