Have a Toshiba L505D-GS6000 laptop that had juice spilled onto the keyboard. Now it does not power on. I heard that I will most likely have to replace the motherboard. Is there anything else that ma have to be replaced? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Replacing the motherboard would be the worst condition. Try bringing it to the service center first. It could just be the power supply or other thing.

Toshiba satellite l505 gs6000 amd mobo fried can i replace with the l505 intel board??

if your motherboard is fried and you are running windows it is probably best to find a replacement motherboard of the same make and model so when you go to start it up it should work.

if not you can attempt to have it fit into the laptop but laptop motherboards don't have a standard size so some modifications might need to be made

Why is my Toshiba Satellite L505D-GS6000 Wifi driver not found?? After resetting, checking device manager, trying fn+f8, and dowloading the driver it still doesn't show up!!!

Sounds like a bad wireless card or the card slot.I would try replacing the wireless card. When wireless cards go bad they either cause the laptop to not boot, low or no signal reception or the card isn't seen at all by the motherboard or operating system or .both.If it isn't showing in device manager either with a caution sign or installed the card is most likely bad

Loss my wireless connection

If you reformatted your hard drive, you'll need to reload the wireless card drivers for the computer. They are not part of Windows.

Can I connect my LG flat screen tv monitor to my toshiba satellite L505D-GS6000 labtop. There is an HDMI-DVI IN port on the back of tv. On laptop I don't see an HDMI port but there is an RGB (monitor)...

Ok in order to hook up the laptop to the TV you have 2 options
First option.
Buy something like this
http://www.amazon.com/Sewell-Converter-All-One-Cable/dp/B003BVVYSM it will directly interface your laptop with your tv. The benefit will be you will get sound to your tv from the laptop

second option.
you will need a vga to hdmi cable like this one
avatar23454_5.jpg
you can buy this here
now this option will only let you have just the video from your laptop on the television because a VGA cable is a video only cable and port.
I hope this helps you.

Toshiba satellite l505d

unplug laptop and remove battery. Take out both memory sticks and locate on the motherboard under sticks two points marked with ***. Replace one memory stick, plug ac adapter back up and while jumping the two points at the *** (use paperclip, flathead screwdriver or other metal object to connect the points) power up computer. This, if done properly, will reset bios, removing password.
