We ran a typical Toshiba Satellite A60 battery of tests, including games, applications, and a couple other areas. Time constraints limited the amount of testing we could get done before the NDA lift (and it's already a few hours late), but we will be providing a follow-up article with further testing and information. That said, if there are any specific areas that you'd like to see tested, feel free to e-mail me or leave a comment.

Toshiba satelite laptop won't poweer up, built in battery.

Built in battery? Why? Did someone glue it in place?
Those batteries are found on the bottom of the Laptop and are easy to replace. You can get them fairly cheap (like $40)

I have toshiba a665-s6086 , notice problem when i play sound file and get move the laptop up or right after that i hear noise in speakers , i payed this laptop new

Sounds like a loose connection from the speaker cable to the motherboard, Or possible bad connection with the speaker terminals. If you purchased this new and it is under warranty, I'd be taking it back for investigation

I purchased the Toshiba A665-S6086 approx 1 month ago. The battery on the computer seems very loose. Should it have "give" in it or should it be more stable? Also, the sound vibrates when you...

- The battery should fit snuggly. Have that checked.
- As for the sound problem, most likely, you have the "Hard drive protection utility" installed and enabled.

When you move the laptop, the hard drive protection kicks in and the read/write heads go into park position freezing the laptop for a fracture of second. Apparenlty this causing the sound to statter.

You can disable the hard drive protection for a while and see if it fixes the problem.

Also, try reducing the movement detection sensetivity in the hard drive protection utility.

Yes its possible but that would mean a main board replacement too and the price is not reasonable for an upgrade part compare to a new laptop with a powerful graphics.

The "graphics card" in laptops are part of the motherboard.
If you browse www.toshiba.com there you will find out exactly what you can do by way of updating drivers etc.
And, I agree, a lovely laptop.
