U can replace ip board it will solve

  • Mike Miller Feb 19, 2011

I have the same problem with mine. The screen will constantly go black, go to DVI, then back to VGA, then the picture will come back I am using VGA input. The power led will even go out and come back. I tracked the problem down to the button control board. Only the power button seems to work, the others are ignored. Sometimes it will go into the menu and act like the down arrow is being held down cycling through options. What is strange is that I tested all buttons with a voltmeter and they work properly. If i disconnect it, the picture will stay normal. MY board part number is BN41-01084A

Samsung SyncMaster 2233SW Monitor "Not

The "native" resolution of the monitor is the "optimal" resolution -- it looks best to use this resolution.

So, right-mouse click anywhere on your Windows desktop "wallpaper".
Click Properties.
Click Settings.
Move the "Screen Resolution" slider to the recommended settings.
Click Apply.
Click OK.

Goes to black after one second

lcjj, Is unit black and blank screen? or just black screen? do flashlight test after pc boots-up. Can you see images and icons on desktop screen with aid of flashlight?? How old is the unit? Is unit out of warranty? Have you been to YOUTUBE to check-out DIY video clips on troubleshooting and the low cost DIY repairs being done to CCFL back-lit lcd monitors? Your monitor's problem not new one!! Try some of these web sites: www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm and www.lcdrepair.us/files/dell_1800fp_power_supply_installation_instructions.pdf and www.badcaps.net and www.lcdparts.net and www.ccfldirect.com and after you finish with that you can start reading the fixya PROFILES of "buddymc" , "budmrtn" , "12fixlouie" In short... you will do one of these four things. 1. DIY refurbishment. 2. Contract out refurbishment work. 3. Trade in unit for new. 4. Do a cash+old swap out with Samsung if they are doing a "just out of warranty" swap for "premature failed" units. Do your test and research first. Then make decision on what to do. Good luck. 12fixlouie

Samsung 2233SW Startup problem.

I finally got myself the solution of my samsung lcd monitor 2233sw.
The monitor has dvi D input, so I guessed I just had to plug the d-sub cable to the monitor as well, and it worked well so far.

Screen goes blank after 2 seconds

Do you have the video set to a range that this display cannot handle? Try rebooting into Safe Mode and set the resolution down to 800x600 or 1024x768 and see if it that will get you back. If so, then look up the specs of the display and set it no higher than it's max.

If it physicaly powers OFF, then you probably have a power issue.
