The electrical system all of a sudden stopped working on my 1994 chevy silverado 4x4 truck. Yesterday everything worked fine, but today nothing. Any ideas? Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

Can a 94 chevy cheyenne transmission interchange with a 97 chevy silverado tranmission

Will it physically fit? yes. Will it be a direct replacement any everything hook right up and plug right in? If we are talking about an automatic then no. 1994's wiring was completely different than the 1997. Can it be made to work? possible, but I believe it would be more trouble trying to make it work than if the correct transmission were located and installed. If it is a cost issue where he has a good trans out of a 1994 he might see if a salvage yard will do some partial trading for the correct trans.

My 1994 gmc 1500 truck will not go in to 4 wheel drive the lever and linkage seem to be working fine. the 4 wheel drive worked fine yesterday and nothing today.

Your problem is the electric actuator . You can search on it, and find the solution.... It could be burned out, or sometimes the connector to it gets loose... try cleaning up the connection first, and try it again... It is on the front axel....

Chevy silverado keeps blowing fuses

Your 20 amp fuse will not blow if glowplug wire shorts. each plug draws 15 amps which is 120 amps total.I think there are in line fuses for them. Try to wring out where each output from the fuse goes, disconnect all and reconnect one at a time till it blows. That should point to your problem process of illumination! Good Luck!!
