Go into the menu and find "copy" for the option to copy the internal memory to a memory card. After you do that and the pics are safely on your computer, do this....with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

Trying to upload pics with my card reader and it says the pictures aren't supported, so they won't upload...any ideas why? Just uploaded from another camera

sir the memory card that you have in your camera do not allow pics to upload.Because the card that we put in the camera only allow picture to download from it.It will not allow pics to upload to it.If you want to upload pics to your camera try after putting a micro SD card. For that you should buy a micro SD adapter. After putting micro SD into that adapter you can put that into your camera. Then it will allow both uploading and downloading.

My camera will not read Kodak pics I put on the memory card, thay are ther as far as the kodak program and file manager are concerned, but the camera will not display them on its screen. The pics were...

Once the pictures have gone from the camera to the computer a different code or tag is used so the computer programing can read it it's a one way ticket from the camera to the computer hard drive but not back. Once the file is opened altered (by deleting images) the camera firmware can not read the file.

I have the Sony Ericsson W595 and a few minutes ago, all my pictures were wiped off and now it says that there is no memory card, when it is in place. I haven't had this problem before.

Hi, it may just be that the memory card has moved slightly and is no longer making a connection with the phone, try taking the memory card out and putting it back in, if the memory card can be taken out without removing the battery then leave the phone on and take the card out and put it back in.

if the battery needs to come out to get to the mem card then do that and give it a try

you can check if everything is still on their by putting the mem card into a card reader on your computer and then it should tell you exactly whats on their

the chances are the phone will pick the mem card up after you have taken it out and put it back in

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Memory card showing 'no image' after trying to upload

Sounds like you didn't use the "safely remove hardware" function when you disconnected the USB cable. This can corrupt the card and even the camera. You could try using a separate card reader to download the pics from the card. If that works, and the pics are safely downloaded, then you should format the card in the camera to erase and optimize it. If it doesn't work, take the card to a Walmart that has a Kodak Picture Kiosk and it should be able to read your card. You can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Then, format the card in the camera.

I uploaded pics from my computer onto my Camera SDPhotosmart M537

If I understand you correctly, you put pics onto the SD card using the computer, then put the card in the camera and now can't see the pics? Is that correct? The camera won't recognize the pics because it uses a different recording system than the computer. Now if you want to take more pictures using that card, you will need to format it in the camera first.

Retrieving file

There are companies that claim to be able to retrieve deleted files on mem cards, if their space has not been written over by other pics taken sense, or a mem card FORMAT. Google it.

Your better approach may be to try to recover the files showing 3Meg size on your computer download. Sounds like mem card quit working correctly after first 100 photoes. Was this a name brand SD card like San Disk or Panasonic? Beware of off brand junk sold on ebay or other sites CHEAP. They are designed to report back the size they claim to be, but are 1/2 size capacity or less in reality. You never know until you need your photos. The other thing is SD cards fail and are never a good as a BackUp source for files. For file xfers only in general.

Good lesson for all is to be sure all your pics show up on your computer before deleting on camera.

Storrage on camera

First off did you format ur memory card? Casio only has 3 brands of memory cards they have tested their cameras with....Sandisc, Toshiba, and Panasonic. The exz600 can take up to a 2 GB card from those manufacturers with no problem. I would make sure that your mem card is formatted. If it is, try a different card. If you don't care about the pics that are stored on your internal mem then you can format your camera, put in a new mem card and then format that. You always have the option of transfering the pics to ur computer first before formatting. After formatting make sure you reset your camera also. Format: in REC mode press menu go to setup tab go up to format press right arrow make sure format highlighted and press set Camera will say "busy please wait" Reset: In REC mode press menu go to setup tab go up to reset press right arrow make sure reset is highlighted & press set.
