have you tried looking on the acer website? go to http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ if you havnt tried there i dont see a audio driver for xp but i see one for vista you could try using vista's and see if that works if it doesnt then go to start menu right click computer click manage go to device manager and right click on the audio its not reconizing and click update driver then click search on web if it doesnt find it then try finding it on a drivers site or when your in device manager do what i just said but instead of clicking search on the web click browse my computer for driver once you download the vista driver online use that as the driver just click browse my computer find the vista file and install it wont install the program it will just install the driver in the vista file that should work

Close Device Manager.
