How do i find my sky remote code for my tv lg 42ld450

I also have an LG TV. I used this 4 digit code: 0742.

TO PROGRAM THE remote USING THE 4 DIGIT CODE:

1. Turn your TV on.

2. Press tv on your Sky remote control.

3. Hold down select and the red button together for about two seconds, until the red light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.

4. Press tv on your Sky remote control again.

5. Key in the four digit code for your brand of TV. The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice. If the light blinks once only, recheck the code for your brand of TV and start again at Step 1.

6. Press the standby button on your Sky remote control. If your TV switches off, press select. The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice (code stored). If your TV does not switch off, press tv, then press the standby button. Repeat this (press tv, then standby) until your TV turns off, then press select (stores code).

I used a Magnavox MG500S, some simply use a Comcast Cable remote, some just use a universal from radio shack......all in all....once you get the remote programmed to the TV you have to find its "Magic Button" to open the password screen........then enter code.(0413) for the remote I used. Some were using code 0000. All in all I guess it depends on the remote used.......sorry I cant help anymore than that.........then I can if you find the same remote I used!!!

Select L for LG then try the codes listed. If none work then your TV probably is not compatible but I have not known this before

I just had to solve this problem. Answer for my M227WDP with a Rev 8 remote was 0206.

To use sky+ remote control with LG 42LH3000 you must have a rev ver8 remote controller.
The codes are stored in a database of the Sky remote. If the old codes don't work
you may need to buy the latest Sky remote. Otherwise it is a matter of waiting for the
new Sky remote which may have the updated codes.

The Sky Remote Code 1280 worked for my Sky+ box

After spending hours on this I found that code 0206 worked on my sky+ remote(with LG 42LC46). On an old sky remote, prior to version 4 (inside the battery compartment), just use 206.
This code was actually for a LG 42PX5D but it works perfectly on my tv.
