You can actually use the motor relay to test if the heater relay is bad, by switching them around. They are interchangeable!
Below is a parts layout for reference.
Unplug power
Then pry the left end cap loose
Remove the philips screw holding the control panel
Remove the back panel plate to inspect, see below diagram:
Unplug the wire harnesses of both relays and plug the heater wires into the motor, motor wires into the heater. If the dryer stays running when you push "start", you must replace the heater relay!
Note: Do not run your dryer until you have all returned the wires to their proper relays...

Possibly have the been done since breakin?Valve clearences should be adjusted after breakin and periodicaly after depending on specs.Improperaly adjusted valves can become burnt and not seal properly the also adversly effect timing.
Make sure you have proper voltage to the back of the dryer. Then you could check the heater element or protective device that has opened and needs replacing.
The first thing I would check would be your high limit thermostat. It is located near the heater and is wired in series with the heater. The contacts in a high limit thermostat remain closed at temperatures below 250 degrees.
The contacts will open and interrupt the circuit to
the heater when the operating thermostat, thermistor or electronic
control fails to cycle properly. The most common condition that causes
the high limit thermostat to operate are vent restrictions, blower
failure or a defective operating thermostat or thermistor. If those are good, then,
Check your dryer heater. With both heater power terminals disconnected you can check for resistance. The typical dryer heater resistance is around 20
Ohms.
If you can not read resistance on the dryer heater
then it is an open circuit and needs replaced. Also if your meter
indicated an electrical path between either of the heater terminals to
the heater frame (ground) then it’s bad. The heater must be isolated
from its mounting frame.
There are a few things to check out.
1. This may seem obvious, but make sure your temperature switch is not pointed to "fluff/air dry".
2.Is the motor running? It has to, to dry three. Make sure your door switch is engaging
properly.
3. If you are so inclined, unplug the power cord and remove the back lower panel
of the dryer.)
Remove the vent pipe & allow the unit to run, if you now have the
proper heat this means the vent is block, check the outside vent hood,
the sometimes have a screen just inside that will block up not allowing
for air flow.
Check all wire connections to make sure they are attached properly. If they
are burned or worn, they need to be repaired or replaced. Any disruption of the circuit
to the dryer element will stop its functioning.
4. Next, look for the thermostat.. which is usually a small circular metal
device attached to the dryer element canister. Unscrew it and shake it slightly. You should
hear a clicking noise. This should indicate that your thermostat is working (but not
always!).
5. Remove the heater element
canister cover and check to see that there is continuity of
the element wires (no breaks). If there is a break, it needs to be
repaired of replaced.
You can take the heater element to a repair shop and be tested for
current. If you think that you can repair any of this on your own, then
go for it. Always think safety first before proceeding
If you removed the heater and didn't get it in right, it could trip a breaker. If it doesn't get proper airflow through the heater, it will not be able to heat properly.
