Maybe you don''t have power to both legs of your receptacle. Both legs of the 220 volt AC have to work go get heat. Only one leg is used to run the motor etc.. Your motor runs so this can fool you into believing that the electrical connection is ok when it really is not. Your dryer is on a double circuit with two breakers. If one fails you lose one 110 volt leg which can be the one giving the full 220 Volt needed for the heater. This happens quite frequently and people mistakenly replace heating coils. You could have a bad breaker, one of the two. You must check this first before assuming anything else. Get help if you are uncomfortable with potentially deadly voltages

no heat use multi meter and check the hi lo limit and cycling thermostat aswell as the heating element for continuity. the thermostats are located on the heating element and one on the blower. Another thing to check and see is there full 240 volts at the outlet and terminal, if ur only getting 120 you will have enough to run the motor but not the heater?

Also I WATCHED the YOUTUBE video I recommended and NOTICED his DRIVE BELT is WAY too loose! Methinks THAT is why his dryer has problems!

Be SURE your belt is not to aged because they can STRETCH and then TRIP the "RESET SWITCH" he's talking about. Note the way his PULLEY shakes so violently... AND the action of the belt itself...

Most likely it is the thermal switch that is located near the heating elements. This switch is the device that regulates the temperature. When it goes bad, it remains open usually. Short of a burned heating element wire, this is probably it. The only other thing it could be is the switch on the end of the motor. This switch turns on the heating element only if the motor runs. Check that too. Good luck.

There are two things that could be wrong with ur heater
1 your heating element is bad
2 your thermostat is bad
check those two things and it should be back in order

check and make sure you have 220 volts leving panel and @ the dryer motor runs on 110 volts takes 220 to heat

I've just fixed mine. The heating element at the rear under the covers was broken - crappy design BTW!
