Dyer will not rotate just clicks
Hi,
Welcome to FixYa.
I know I responded to your other post as well, but I just wanted to make sure you got my reply.
It sounds like the kill/emergency shut switch is in the "off" position.
- If you notice a switch ( white in color ) next to the belt pulley has a black push button on it, that is the interrupt switch that shuts it down should the belt break.
- Push in the black button from the left ( from the back ) until you hear it "click" and you should be good to go.
Let me know how you make out.
Thanks for choosing FixYa. I hope you will take a second to rate my solution/assistance positively.
Good luck.

Dryer was not staying on for more than a few
Maybe the vent chamber is plugged (considering you have kept the filter clean) Pull the filter out, and look down in the unit for excess lint. You may have to move the dryer to clean it all out.
E-01 error code
hi there,
i understand your frustration here.
the E01 code means there is reduced airflow through your dryer and therefore before it overheats and starts a fire, it shuts down.
replacing boards and sensors will not fix this problem as it has nothing to do with the electronics or electrical side.
here is what you can do yourself:
check the venting on the dryer.
the vent hose runs from the back or side to the wall of your house.
it may be clogged or kinked
if everything is fine, i would contact Bosch directly and see if they have a recall or any service reports on this problem and if there are any solutions.
let me know if i can be of more assistance.
thanks.
Will Not Start

Lint Filter
hi there,
i can understand your frustration. i have reviewed the information that i have from Bosch and they indicate that the lint filter indicator light should only come on as a reminder but should not shut off the dryer.
here is my recommendation and also a question:
the dryer is shutting off due to the fact that it's overheating. it's a safety precaution from the manufacturer and it's built in to prevent the lint collected in the lint filter, since it's highly flammable.
check the venting in the back or side, wherever it was installed.
the vent tube is often the cause for the dyer to stop functioning.
if that turns out to be okay, the dyer is equiped with a sensor on the heater. it is possible that it's opening due to the heat generated by the dryer that has nowhere to go.
does the display show any error messages?
can you tell me what they are?
thanks again
