Lcd display for picture not

-   I have a black screen on the LCD as well as the viewfinder... it displays all the icons... but pictures are all black-   Guest

-   I'm having the same problem. My screen is black, but it will show the different camera settings depending on what you have it set on. It is black when I have it set to take pictures and also black when I have it set to view the pictures I've already taken. Also, all the pictures I've taken while the screen were black are also black. Yes...the lens is open when I'm trying to take pictures. All the other functions on the camera seem to be working. I have also put brand new batteries in the camera. Any ideas what is going on? Thanks!-   Guest
