I just bought a lg lcd330 32 inches. When i connect my usb nothing happensa i dont get any screen recognizing the usb connection.

it cannot recognize it because you must first install the pc suite cd that comes with your phone.or you may search for it through google.com if you dont have it.install then connect your phone,it must recognize it

From the manual, here's what it says about cleaning:

And in order for the TV to recognize your wifi, you'll need to plug in a wireless network adaptor to one of the USB ports. (network adaptor sold separately.) Follow these instructions to establish a wifi connection, and then follow the on-screen instructions for wifi/network settings. Or for details on how to adjust your wifi/network settings, see pages 58 and 59 of the manual.


That's kind of hard to read, but it says.
"The LG Wireless LAN for Broadband/DLNA Adaptor, which is sold separately, allows the TV to connect to a woreless lan network.
The network configuration and connection method may vary depending on the equipment in use and the network environment. Refer to the setup instructions supplied with yur access point or wireless router for detailed connection steps and network settings.

Connect the "LG Wireless LAN for Broadband/DLNA Adaptor (sold separately) to the USB IN 1 or 2 port on the TV.
2. How to use
Select "Network Setting" in the NETWORK menu
After connecting, you can use the NETCAST menu"

You need to change usb connection to USB mass storage from your phone. Then it will be ok try it .

I currently cant get Att communication manager to recognize the phone is tethered, but i currently have my xp pro sp3 recognize the driver of the lg xenon.

From the main (touch) screen click on the 4 dots (menu)>then the gear (settings)>then select the gear that says "more +"> select connection (should be first option)>select "USB connection"> select "Data Service". NOW you plug in the data cable (dont plug it in before you do this!) and windows should auto pick up the driver for you.

My ONLY problem is getting the ATT communication manager to recognize the phone. it simply says "No wireless device detected". which is garbage because the device manager has no missing drivers and i saw the driver physically installed. anyone else having this problem too???

hey.. if u connect ur phone via usb, be sure that ur phone is in home screen, because if not, for example if you connect your phone and you're in your message menu then you will open some apps in your pc suite the message will appear saying 'Fail to connect to the mobile handset, Please check the COM port and connect in idle screen. Due to the multifunction, despite idle screen, it can be failed to connect' now try it by connecting the phone but in home screen mode.. gotcha buddy?? hope soo..

Try going into your connectivity option, then USB connection mode.
Select Mass storage.

in order to send photos,music etc to ur phone u just have to go to phone settings>connectivity>usb connection mode and select mass storage. then use the usb to connect the phone to the computer and that's it.

youll need the drivers for them i cant find them online but you may want to try bitpim its a free program that would let you do it without drivers

I have the same problem like everyone else in this forum! here is the solution:

1. The USB modem driver came with the CD may or will not work, so get the latest drivers for it.

2. Before install the new drivers, change your phone setting under " setting -> USB connection -> from MASS STORAGE to DATA LINK.

3. Plug the usb cable to the phone and to your PC, it should do anything or give any message if it does just cancel it for now.

4. Install the new USB driver you just download, while install it will said something like " does not work with XP " just click OK don't panic.

5. After it finished installed you will see by the clock that it find the USB LG blah blah...and ding ding sound if you have sound on.

6. Now go back to LG Sync software and click on Connect & choose LG modem com port whatever it there.

7. You're done !!!

Yeah the link is all Italian ...don't panic, I couldn't read it either LOL...just click on the picture where you see the phone and the PC with wrap around with arrow, then follow instruction will be in English.
