Open the programme file and open your pc folder & the printer Model folder.
Now open the Bin folder then right click on

Hello my scanner wont work for lexmark x852e. please help

Don't know if you have tried this, but it might help.

Create a scan to PC profile
1 Type the IP address of the MFP in the address line of your browser, and then press Enter.
If the Java applet screen appears, click Yes.
2 Click Scan Profile.
3 Click Create Scan Profile.
4 Select your scan settings, and then click Next.
5 Select a location for saving the scanned output file somewhere on your computer.
6 Enter a profile name.
The profile name is the name that will appear on the Scan Profile list on the MFP control panel.
7 Click Submit.
8 Review the instructions on the Scan to PC screen.
A shortcut number was automatically assigned when you clicked Submit. You can use this shortcut number when
you are ready to scan your documents.
a Go to the MFP, and place your original document in the ADF face up, long edge first.
b Press # followed by the shortcut number on the keypad, or touch Profiles on the home screen.
c After you enter the shortcut number, the scanner will scan and send the document to the directory or
application you specified. If you touch Profiles on the home screen, locate your shortcut on the list.
9 Return to your computer to view your file.
Your output file is saved in the location you specified or launched in the application you specified.

Good luck.

I down loaded a HP Deskjet F4280 DRiver and I dont know how to put a short cut for the scanner

Open your Prgram files dirctory and open the folder for your scanner. Click the "View" on top bar and set it to "details". Listed there somewhere will be at least one, probably more, .exe files. Find the .exe file that opens the scanner ( look for SCAN in the name) open it to make sure it is the right file, then right click it and choose "create a shortcut" which will create a shortcut on your desktop. It is also possible in some configurations to get a "send to" option when you right click, where you can choose to put a shortcut somewhere else, possibly Quick Launch. There may also be a choice in the context menu to "add to startup" which will put a shortcut in your startup list.

I have lost my desktop shortcut. How do i get it back?

I am not sure what exact shortcut you are referring to, but if it is involving your printer you can either copy the shortcut from the list of programs. Click on start>programs>then the HP software for the scanner and right click on the link you want and click create shortcut then move it to the desktop. You can also reinstall the software if you would like as well. Just select your operating system after going to the link:

Using the HP solutions icon I am automatically connected to my officejet 6100. How do I get the hp scnjet 4050 scanner tocome up

Instead of using the HP solutions icon, go to All programs, and find your scanner entry and create a shortcut on your desktop to the scanner. Now, whenever you want to use the scanner, simply click on the desktop shortcut. This would be the simplest solution..
