I have a 2010 Toyota Camry with a front passenger window problem. The window goes up and comes right back down sometimes when I push the button to roll the window up. The window will finally stay up after about a dozen times of rolling it up. A motor has been replaced in the passenger window but that apparently was not the problem because it still is doing the same thing?

Hello Susan..... What you are experiencing is the jam protection function: During automatic
closing operation, the window stops and opens half way if something gets caught
between the window and window frame. If the window receives a strong impact,
this function may work even if nothing is caught.

If the power window does not operate automatically or the jam protection function does not operate correctly, you should normalize the power window
To normalize the power window:
1. Push down the power window switch and lower the windows fully.
2. Pull up the switch until the windows close and hold the switch for a second. Make sure that the window open and close automatically. If the power windows cannot be operated properly, have it
checked by your dealer.

I have an EOS VW 2009 and it had 5 window switches in the driver side door to the front windows and back windows and a switch to push all four windows down/up at the same time. But right now my passenger...

Hi Kimberli,

I suspect that since all windows can be powered up and down, you have issues with I believe 2 specific switches you mentioned that have problems - as a result of possible rain water, melting snow / ice or spillage of beverages. You might be able to clean them up - or replace the ones that are "flaky"

Good luck!

2010 toyota venza side window hasa been replaced and when it goes up to top it goes back down because it thinks ther is something in the way!

Try this

turn the key to the run position, do not try and start. press and hold the window switch in the down position until the window is all the way down, then count to three. Hold the window switch in the up position until the window is all the way up, then count to three. Push the window button down to engage the auto down function (you do not need to hold it down). once the window is all the way down pull up on the window switch momentarily to activate the auto up (you do not need to hold the switch in the up position). The window should now be reset.

I have a 1994 Toyota Camry and the power window on the passenger side has gone down, under power. Then nothing would happen when I would pulled up on the switch on the driver side main switch and the also...

more than likely one of the switches are bad (down side of switch works but up side of switch dont) being as the switches are wired together if one goes bad other one won't work either take the switch out one of back doors should be same as front passenger door put rear switch in front passenger door if works then u know front door switch is bad if it doesn't then drivers door switch is bad
u replaced window regulator Did that come with motor too??? if not check to see if motor is good
there is two wires going to motor cut isolation back on wires and using some jumper wires attach one wire to positive terminal of a 12 volt battery attach other wire to negative terminal of battery window should move up or down reverse connections and window should move other way

Passenger side window will not go back up

No.The drivers master power switch is probably bad.YOu will have to perform a test on the three other switches on the master. Check for power and ground when you push each putton. If the master switch fails the test you need a new master switch.

Try pushing the little square button above the power windows. That button locks all passenger windows.

2003 toyota camry se

You may have inadvertantly locked the passenger windows by pressing the little button to the right of the door locks (on the driver side). It's a push to lock/push again to unlock type button, so try pushing it--if it stays down, then that wasn't the problem. If it comes up, then try the window. I hope that helps

1997 toyota camry passenger side front power window problem

Good Day,

I would lean towards it being a bad switch on that side. To test this theory go grab any DPDT(double pole-double throw) switch and hook it up to that side, if it works than it's just a bad switch, go grab a new one from a junkyard or dealer.

Hope this helps
