I formatted the 2 GB micro SD card with my Samsung Steel mobile/cell phone and then with my pc ( in FAT format, it wont allow FAT32 format, I have not tried ex-FAT format ). Then I copied photos from my phone onto micro SD. I can view copied photos in the micro SD on the phone or on my pc via USB cable. When I put micro SD into SD adapter and put it into card reader on pc, I can see it registered as Drive E on ?My Computer?. But when I click on it or when I click ? Open to view files? option on the pop up menu, I see folders and files with gobbledy gook and cant open them. I make sure that the adapter is unlocked. What shall I do?

The phone can handle up to 32 Gb micro SD cards, so I think the format is not good. Try formatting the SD card in your phone, to make sure the format is what your phone can work with.
If you can't use the card, because the phone does not let you format is, try formatting it in a PC, using an external memory card reader. Us format FAT32.
It will be better if you use a card reader and put the SD card on it and format it using your computer so you can set it to FAT and that should do it....
Just try formatting the SD card. Hope it works fine.
Just connect the micro SD with computer.(You need SD adapter, SD card reader, and USB connection) Most computer will recognise the SD card automatically. Format the micro SD in the Window Explorer(or My Computer). Format menu can be found if you click right-button with cursor on the drive letter. After formatting, re-insert micro SD into your D900. Some Korean experts says the problem might be caused by different file system (e.g. FAT, FAT32, etc) in each memory card. So they recommended not to share your memory card with different mobile phones as well as any electric devices (eg. MP3 player and digital camera).
Open the card on your PC and copy all your files to a folder on your desktop. Then go to my computer, right click the memory card and format. When a little window appears just click start.
If your files are deleted then paste them from your desktop back onto your card. This should fix the problem.
