Please...I need to get my 'Favorites'. Where do I go?

Favorite. Sometimes abbreviated as fav, a favorite is a feature found in Microsoft Internet Explorer that allows a user to save the locations to their favorite Internet locations. Similar to Netscape's and Firefox bookmarks.
Finding My Favorites

Click the \"Start\" button.
In the \"Start Search\" text field, type \"Favorites.\"
Under Programs, you will find the Favorites folder. The Favorites Bar folder is located under Favorites and History. The Favorites folder will contain the contents of My Favorites. Click \"Favorites\" to open \"My Favorites.\"

What did you do to loose them ?
If you did not make a backup of either your favorites or your computer then I fear you have lost them and will need to gather new ones.

For the future:
if you want to backup your favorites, then you will have to export them:
Internet Explorer:
To export the Favorites folder, follow these steps:

• Start Internet Explorer.
• On the File menu, click Import and Export, and then click Next.
• Click Export Favorites and then click Next.
• Click Favorites and then click Next.
• Type the name of the file that you want to export the favorites to.

Then you can import them anew when you loose them.

Easier:
For instance if you would use Firefox as browser you can use sync to have all of your favorites on all of your computers.
Your favorites are backed up on your cloud sync account and can be seen on every computer where you connect your sync account.

All of the below apply to windows 7 and above:

- If you are using IE, favorites are located in:
C:\Users\<current username you are logged in>\Favorites\
You can also hide the favorites bar by right-clicking anywhere on the top bar of internet browser and just uncheck the favorites bar from the list.

Similarly you can right-click on the top-bar for Mozilla and uncheck the favorites bar so it is not shown.

phone>Favorites ( very left botton hand corner) > Very top to the right is a plus sign click it than you should be able to add favorites

Use shortkey combination Ctrl+Shift+I to visualize Favorites, History and Feeds bars on the left of your screen. Or you can go to Menu->Explorer Bars->Favorites.

I see that you cannot locate your Favorites Button on your browser.

1. If you have Internet Explorer you Favorites Button will be on the top portion of your Internet Explorer tools bar if you cannot locate it then you will need to press ALT once on your keyboard to be able to see the Option menu for your IE browser.

2. If you have Mozilla Firefox your Favorites Button will be the Bookmarks button on top before Tools

Transferring your favorites is a very easy process, all you need to do is hook the unit with your favorites to the PC and grab the files from the Garmin drive and place them on your desktop. Then hook thee other unit without favorite t your computer and drop them in the same respecting folder. You now have all your favorites transferred.

go into control panel and open "folder options", check off show hidden files, and system files. Then do a search for "all files or folders" and type in search word "Favorites" without the quotes. Internet explorer favorites are stored in this folder and can be deleted as if they were a file. locate it icon in the favorites folder, right click and delete. Hope this helps. if your using something other than IE you will need to make another comment here

If you mean, editing your favorites (bookmarks) in Internet Explorer, just click on the Favorite Menu, click Organize Favorites and edit your bookmarks, you can create folder, change name, delete, etc.. Good luck..

If the favorites do not show up, unfortunately they may be gone forever. Check the Recently Found and see if any are there, then re-save them. I don't know why it would lose the favorites to begin with, but once gone, they are usually gone. By the way, resetting can remove them also.
