I can't delete the videos on my phone which are in video player... They dont show up in "my files" so im stuck :( somebody help please!

Plug the mp3 player into your computer with the cable it came with. Use Windows Media Player to browse your music and movies and "Sync" with your mp3 player.

The video files should be in the video folder instead of the music folder - use Windows Explorer to be sure. If they are not showing up, switch the device's mode to MTP mode and see if the video files show up as available for deletion.

im using 4gb MP-705 and i kinda read through the guide thing and the first problem with the ur vids are that, if u sync with window media player the video files becomes WMV, but you want AVI so change it to AVI and drag the files to the coby directly by going into computer-coby blah and movies folder. I dunno about the MTP.BIN and WMPInfo.xml, but i tried everything i knew for making videos work, but in the end it didn't work. Just try the method with dragging and if it doesn't work i dun really know im stuck there. don't forget to converse the files with the small cd program

WMP doesn't recognize the players video file system, or your computer does not have the right codecs for WMP to recognize that file type

Delete from windows explorer instead - but be careful to only delete the videos, and not the system files/folders that control video for this player

Also using P2kmenueditor I removed the IM graphic from the main menu and replaced it with the motomixer from the multimedia section because I had an extra icon after enabling the Video Camera. There are probably a couple other files I forgot about that I deleted but this is the bulk of it, pretty much leave everything in the /a/ folder alone unless I said delete, I didnt touch the following directories /a/mobile/audio/vavr, /a/mobile/certs.

The files names on your phone will vary from the ones I have listed above because most people dont have the flex my phone came with but you get the idea of what you can and cannot delete.

sir in order to download the video u got to use the software they would have provided in a cd attached to the pack while buying.... if u use the software u can convert the video file to a format compatible to the player.... now if u want to delete the files.. connect it to a pc and then try to delete it.. hope i have helped u.dont forget to rate me.. thank u sir

what you need to do is make sure that the file is correctly in the folder like drag the file from the media player and have the folder already open then drag the file to the folder that is already open and when you have it on your PC make sure you change the file to what ever type of PC or programming (like media player or real player etc.) then you should use .mp3,wma(if you have windows media player), or mpeg-4/mp4. this should work. if not then post a problem up again and i'll find an answer for you
