The cause of drawer not sliding properly could be a few.
Please provide the full model number.

Also please note down what you see on the display if anything when you turn power on and try to shut the drawer.

Power cannot be turned on. led display not on

Check that the draws are closing properly and evenly , there is a door sensor just inside the frame top and bottom on the right side .

If thr machine is not level the doors can slide forward.

if this does not work , feel if the draw really locks in when closed because at the back of the draw slides on each side are two plastic lock mechanisms. when the draw has been out they need to be upwards facing so when closed thy lock the slides in on both sides . Sometimes thy only lock in one side causing it not to deactivate the door sensors and shut down .

Yes it sounds simple, but most problems i have found are

Need to remove upper drawer Fisher and Pykel dd605ss

Open the top draw. On each side of the draw at the bottom / front, is a clip that releases the rails that the draw slides in and out on. Press the clips in to release and slide it back (into the machine as if you were closing the draw). Do this one at a time and then lift the draw slightly and rotate the draw anti-clockwise direction (due to the plumbing) and lay the draw on its left hand side. The draw is out!

Fisher and paykel dd603

Flood switch is at the very bottom underneath the bottom draw in the base floor.Unplug cord.Open bottom draw all the way & squeeze a towel or sponge under the draw & soak up the water..The washer should work now..Why did it flood in first place?
Check that dishes are not stacked higher than top edge of the draw otherwise it can't seal.this can happen when children are asked to stack the dishwasher.Another cause is some models the seal is an inflatable tube that seals the top edge of the draws,it gets cut or sliced buy a plate that was stacked to high when you closed the draw.there should be no clunk of dished hitting when the draw is closed.

Top draw won't close completely

Probably a blockage behind the drawer. If its an older model, the bracket that holds the hoses away from the drawer were apparently designed to fail and there is a retrofit replacement kit available if that is your problem.

Fisher and paykel DD603ss ,bottom draw does not slide out easy,,,,

Hi- Most likely the lid is stuck in the down, or partially down position. This is usually caused by the lid actuators (motors) not returning the lid to its full up position and therefore the drawer top is dragging on the lid gasket. Replacing the lid actuators should resolve the problem. You'll need a F/P tech to change those for you. Hope this helps.

Fisher paykel drawer dishwasher is stuck open and will not close

Hey I dont know if you have this problem, but with mine the gasket seemed to be blocking the opening, so you could close it, but you had to shove a lot. The FP help line said to just unplug and replug in the unit. I did it and lo and behold it worked fine again. It did seem to leak a little bit the first time I reran it, but that seems to have gone away. Hope this helps

My fisher paykel top draw does not close fully and therefore when it operates its floodsa nd the f1 code comes on. I know how to clean and reset it but not sure why the door will not close fully, I can...

check the draw on the sides at the front as the draw sits on runners and there are tabs on the runners at the front which hold the draw on. hold the plastic tabs both sides and slide the draw past the slots on the bottom sides of the draw.

The top drawer of my Fisher Paykel two drawer dishwasher will not close all the way. Something appears to be stopping it. How do I fix it?

To find out what might be blocking it, you can remove the drawer. There are two tabs one on each side of the drawer near the bottom front. Push those in and pull the drawer out. You can lift the drawer up and push the slides in to get them out of the way. Then you should be able to see into the cabinet and what if anything is stuck behind the drawer

Fisher & paykel double dish drawer top draw just beeps...

The controllers get very brittle & can break away from their housing, the reason it's rapidly beaping is because it thinks the door is open. PLEASE TURN IT OFF FIRST AT THE POWER POINT. Take the front draw panel off by pulling the plugs situated on the front behind the draws, the controller is at the top right hand side if it is loose then thats the problem, double sided tape will work but lots of it or try a wedge type arrangement. I know this is an old post but people refer to these for solutions much later.
