Take out the comb filter and replace the surface mount electrolytic capacitors (I think there were around 4 of them) on the comb filter and put it back in the motherboard. MCM sells a kit If I'm not mistaken with capacitors that fix this problem as well as the picture in picture problem which these same sets have.

I have a toshiba rear projection tv 40inch model no 40pw13p, does anyone know how i connect the xbox 360 as i cant get any av channels up?

Hello:The xbox came with an audio and video cable, probably componet cables on one end, if you are going to use HDTV input which is the red/grn/blue cables on the end of you xbox plug them into the corresponding color in the back of the tv, also on your cable is a switch labeled HTDT and TV make sure the switch is in the HDTV mode if you are going to connect the componet cables if you are going to use regular video then make sure its in the other posistion. If you use componet cables you are going to use the red an white audio cables also a total of five cables should be connected to the TV. Some newer xboxs have hdmi output as well this is the better of the three connections as it also has audio and hd all on one cable. using your tv's remote switch the tv's input to the same input you connected your xbox to. HAPPY GAMING..

Same crazy problem here! I have a converter box and can't figure out how to get the dvd to work. I managed to get a b/w picture to come barely come in (has rolling horizontal lines). What channel is it...

The converter box simply installs between your Antenna and your TV (tune to channel 3 or 4) http://digitaltips.org/docs/FlosTips.pdf

A dvd that does not Record is designed to simple install into a separate Input connection on the TV (do you have a VCR/DVD combo?)

Do you have an older TV with only one "Input" for a cable connection? (no Red/Yellow/White Inputs) if yes you may need to take a trip to Radio Shack

T V DOES NOT HAVE CABLE CONNECTION HOW CAN I GET CABLE DIRECTLY FROM WALL TO TV? ALSO THE RGB1 RGB2 COMPONET DO NOT SEEM TO WORK ONLY S-VIDEO SO WE COULD ONLY WATCH VIDEOS AND NOT CABLE.?

You need a converter plug an "F" connector, on the end of wall cable to "Belling-Lee" in Rear of TV, the "Antenna" socket. Then simply, plug in and scan for channels as usual.

How do record a movie or a live feed on a zenith vcr? we can't seem to do it

Hi,

First of all, if you have a cable box for cable TV this will be first in line. Next connect the antenna in from the VCR to the cable box (or antenna system)output. Lastly, connect the output of the VCR to the RF input on the TV. With this setup you will need to tune the VCR tuner to the output channel of the cable box (ch3or4)If your TV has audio/video inputs you can connect the DVD/VCR to your TV with these cables instead of the RF cable. Your TV will have to be on ext video inputs.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a Zenith 50" rear projection tv. I recently noticed horizontal lines that crawl towards the top of the screen. It is not all the time, and not very noticeable--just annoying right now. Can this be...

It may be problem with the TV but I've seen cable boxes cause this as well. Try unplugging the box and running the cable directly to the TV's RF input. If the lines are gone, its the cable box.

Capture video from composite input

you should make sure everything that may cause interference is away from any of those cables, such as cable/dsl modem, wifi router..etc because they cause a large amount of electromagnetic interference
