SOURCE: Does anyone have a manual

This may be a warranty issue. You should find directions in the manual that came with the oven how to change the globe. And what the replacement should be used. In the back of the manual there will be a 1-800 number that you can call to see if the globe is a warranty covered item.

SOURCE: Does anyone have a manual

Hi, tell me if im wrong but are you going on about the light globe in the top of the oven, if you are then all you need to do is unscrew the glass part it may be greased up with grime but it will unscrew give the glass a good clean then try using a slightly damp towel to unscrew the glass part, it will unscrew then once you have got this off you will be able to get the bulb out, take the bulb to a hardware store and ask them if they can match you one up of the same type, then when you come to putting it all back together give the glass globe a good clean in hot soapy water before putting it back doing this will keep it from clogging up the next time should you need to change the bulb again.

if you are going on about something else then im sorry i got it wrong and tell me what you mean then ill do my best to assist you further.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

My Baumatic BS65MS oven is cooking too hot, it burns everything. I have turned down the temperature, this doesn't help. What would be the problem?

You may have a stuck thermostat and that should be replaced because he's probably telling the other keep eating even though the temperature the temperature would be correct

think your new oven is too hot or too hot or too cold, you can adjust the temperature yourself to meet your specific cooking preference. You can also adjust your thermostat if your oven is not new, since thermostats may "drift" from the factory setting over time. See the "Adjust the Oven Thermostat"

I have an Ariston electric oven that seems to get too hot & burns

You can try going to a lower wattage element. EX: Our oven can take a 2500 - 5500 watage element. The lower the wattage, it won't heat up as fast/hot.Plus it saves on your power bill over time. Go to the Ariston website, or find your element number and check the web for a lower wattage.

GE P7 Wall oven had bad thermostat????

IF YOUR HEATING ELEMENT IS GETTING ORANGE HOT, AND CYCLING, I WOULD SUSPECT THE THERMOSTAT TO BE THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. YOU MAY FIND IT HARD TO FIND ONE THOUGH DUE TO ITS AGE.

Oven not getting hot

The fan oven element needs to be replaced in the Hotpoint 6150 cooker.
Access is by removing the inner rear cover of the oven, there you will see the element.
Replace with a new one.

It is possible the base element is faulty in the top oven of the Hotpoint EW95,
The other possibility is that the high speed grill element is only part working. You need to check both these elements.
If the fan is working o/k in the main oven , but not getting hot, then you need to replace the element.
If it does heat, then it could be a faulty thermostat or possibly selector switch.
Unless you have a good working knowledge of electrics and know how to use a meter, then I would suggest you call some one in.
Plz rate my solution
Thanks.

Oven staying hot a long time after it was turned off

Thanks for your reply. I contacted an appliance repair person I have used before and he told me about turning off the breaker, which I did. He suggested using an oven thermostat to see if it was heating to the correct temperature as a first step. It may be the thermostat, I do not know what the controller is as presented by one of the responders. At any rate I learned that my breaker for the oven is by itself and is not attached to the stovetop which is good. I will have to weigh the cost of replacing a part on a 20 year old builder quality oven with microwave on top to a new one. Any ideas on a new problem free model are appreciated!!
