See the post on Samurai Appliance Repair Man's site http://applianceguru.com/forum1/13035-1.html for instructions on how it's possible to fix the HV Controller Board power supply filter caps for $5 in Radio Shack parts (really!). You need to be able to solder electronic components, or know someone who can. There are 2 power supply filter caps that appear to go bad and the result is the blinking and flapping. I had the same problem and decided I could not wait for a $150 replacement back-ordered board.

When replaceing the highvoltage control board be careful to not handle it too much as nano voltages can burn it. Unplug before repair. Simply hook it up the way you unhooked it very easy and in the left back of the fridge. Now that it's installed plug fridge in and push back to wall. Look at model tag and write down your code something like 0304 most likely. Go to digital control hold down door alarm and freezer - minus button for 3sec. then let off door alarm now you should see PE flashing the fridge wants personality code (the one you have wrote down). Let off minus now it should show 0000 now push minus once more a decimal should show up 0.000 the decimal indicates what number your about to change. Move the decimal with freezer plus button and lower or higher number setting with fridge side buttons.Once your done hold down freezer minus till the numbers are flashing then open any door and close. Now the fridge should be working properly.Hope I helped

On most the motherboard will reset itself once unplugged. I believe you need to test the low voltage power supply transformer. This by far will not be a one answer solution so if you could follow through the service manual and technical notes with me I will be glad to assist you. Any time a board is disconnected on your model the motherboard should reset back to factory settings once disconnected from a power supply. Hope you have not discarded the old boards and you can put them back in and see if something is different. Let me know later what you decide to do. For now I will leave these=> Service Manual and=> Technical Information I will return later to see if you respond. Please rate my solution after I have helped you resolve the problem and communicate with me. I am offering my help to you free.
