If the battery is fully charged, and you are able to turn on the camera but only the lens wont come out, then try doing this:
1. Hold the camera from your right hand with the lens facing down. 2. Hit the base of the camera to your left palm as you press the ON button to turn on the camera. Do this a couple of times until the lens comes out.
Chances are, your camera's lens is stuck inside because of some granule of sand or dirt stuck on the sides of the lens inside. Goodluck!
Hey Joy_2008, A lens error usually means something is obstructing the movement of the lens (i.e. sand). You could try blowing compressed air into the side of the lens to try and dislodge whatever is stuck in the lens. You could also try placing the camera on a flat surface with the lens pointed up. While holding the shutter button in turn on the camera. What this sometimes does is force the lens to move before the camera shuts down, and when the lens moves hopefully it will dislodge whatever is stuck. the lens cover gets stuck sometimes. It just needs a gentle touch and it opens up. Only happened once to me. In my case it happened after my daughter held onto the camera with her finger on the lens cover.
