Having trouble trying to figure out how to do the touch screen calibration

Touch screen is not supposed to be "calibrated" by users. All my family uses touchscreen smartphones and computers and NEVER anyone mentioned the need of calibrating a touchscreen. If you have some problem with your touchscreen, it is something beyond standard devide operation and you should take it for service, if it is on warranty, to site where it should be serviced

Screen is white with black vertical lines upon booting up. I can't get beyond this screen.

The video card (built-in on the motherboard) maybe faulty or the LCD screen is faulty.
Connect an external monitor to the video port of your laptop, power up the monitor first then boot up your laptop. If the video card id OK then the laptop will automatically divert the video to the external monitor. Then the problem is a faulty LCD screen.
If the external monitor also displays black vertical lines then you have a faulty video card and since it is part of the motherboard it is impossible to fix.

Designer 1 touch screen freezes

You probably have the old-style touch panel which is known to fail. Viking has a five year warranty on electronics but sometimes they will cover this particular part beyond the five years. If you find a sympathetic dealer you may be able to get the part for free. You will need to pay for the labor though.

Good luck!

Will not go beyond the boot screen at startup, pressing F2 or F12 does not respond

2 ways to try
1) Boot in safe mode F8 key while booting. if possible right click C:\ properties tools open error check tick small box to fix errors and reboot Windows on reboot will check disk for errors and fix them then restart.
2) Reinstall windows in repair mode
After all drivers etc loaded windows will ask what you want to do install, repair etc press R key for repair and follow instructions

Garmin Nuvi 350 Calibration Issue

Turn the unit off. Press and hold down the power button and keep holding it. You will see the screen light up and it will say "pre-boot mode". Keep holding down the power key. It will then say "booting". Keep holding the power button down. You'll then come to the calibation screen. Select the dots and you'll be back in business.

Nav-cam 7000 Can't start

After you click on each of the corners, you have to tap the center twice. I believe you get a message that tell you that. You just need to read it :-) Once you tap it twice it "accepts" the adjustments and boots up.
