Siemens Speedstream 4200 Driver

I have a Siemens Speedstream 4200 Modem and am trying to get the drivers for this, am putting in http://192.168.254.254 in the address field as I was originally instructed to when I first received the modem but I can't seem to access it now. Do you know where I can get the drivers for this modem? I was with a different ISP when I last used this.

I had similar problem till I found out the modem only works when its is Bridge Only mode, with PPPoE.

would it be possible to use the USB port and the Eithernet port at the same time, Eithernet port is for a desktop and USB port is for a portable, would that work?

ISP supplied units sometimes come with customised firmware which blocks port 5060. To remove the block, replace you firmware with a non-customised version.

To configure the modem, type http://192.168.0.1 in the address field.

You dont need drivers for this modem under vista or XP
.
* Open up your internet explorer, in the address bar type 192.168.0.1

* You can see the configuration page here. In the login page, enter the email address password to go online

You need drivers for this modem if you connect it by USB. Yes, it should be connected by ethernet, but if you don't have the right cable, you can't.

Well the site modem support .com.au seems to have some answers for Vista still looking up Win 2000 and XP get back to you when I find anything.

Goto an internet cafe or a friends that will let you down load file off modem support.com.au I hope this site will help at this site Vista drivers for USB and the manual.
