To detect the stator coil of the magnet, it is generally necessary to measure the resistance value of the ignition coil and the trigger coil with a multimeter. As long as the resistance value is normal, the coil is generally fine. The resistance of the ignition coil is generally more than 300 ohms for most models, and the trigger coil is more than 100 ohms. The method of fire test is not necessarily accurate. If the measurement coil is normal, and the installation is correct, then check the igniter, the high voltage package and the electric door lock, the flame extinguishing line and the whole ignition coil. If the coil has a virtual connection, a short circuit or the internal contact of the electric door lock is bad, it will also cause high voltage fire or high voltage intermittent. Use igniters, high pressure packs and other replacement tests, must ensure that the quality of the accessories used is qualified, the model is appropriate, plug or install correctly, otherwise it may cause misjudgment. Maybe get a new spark plug.make sure your grounded(earthed). did you take the plug out and check for spark against the motor while you cranked the bike over?

Will cdi box stop stator from firing on a 125cc pit dirt bike

Stator will stop the cdi from firing the spark plug and either cdi or stator if bad will stop a spark from being created. The coil, wiring, kill switch and other things can also stop ignition spark.

No Spark, No Power coming from CDI to coil

Check the wiring on the connector plugs make sure all the wires are the same color on both sides, red to red blue to blue and so on. I had the same problem After replacing a stator and just plugging it in,after two weeks a new cdi and coil i noticed there were two wires transposed.

125 pit bike skyteam NOT SPARKING tryed evary thing

If your 125 pit bike skyteam is not sparking, even though you've tried everything, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Some possible causes include:
  1. Faulty ignition coil: The ignition coil is responsible for creating the spark that ignites the fuel in the engine. If the ignition coil is faulty, it will not produce a spark.
  2. Stator issues: The stator is responsible for generating power to the ignition coil. If the stator is not working properly, it will not produce the power needed to create a spark.
  3. CDI issues: The CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) is responsible for sending power to the ignition coil. If the CDI is not working properly, it will not send power to the ignition coil, resulting in no spark.
  4. Spark plug: A fouled or worn spark plug can prevent the engine from starting. Check the spark plug and replace it if necessary.
  5. Wiring issues: A problem with the wiring can prevent the spark from reaching the spark plug. Check all the wiring connections and make sure they are clean and secure.
  6. Battery: A weak or dead battery can prevent the engine from starting. Check the battery and charge or replace it if necessary.
It is possible that one or more of these issues may be causing the problem. It is recommend to check the owner's manual for troubleshooting and further guidance. If the problem persist, it is best to take it to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.

Changed the CDI, Magneto, and pick up coil, on Kazuma Falcon 90 ATV. Still no spark.please help.

I'm having the same problem with my Kazuma falcon 250. No spark, the stator shows good ohms and I just replaced the CDI box and still nothing. I'll check the kill switch and reverse override.

My honda crf450 has no spark replaced coil and cdi, stato has lots of power, but no spark please help

Maybe a connector problem? Use an ohmn meter to check all the connectors/wires...try to disconnect kill switch as well to test for that malfuntion.

No spark

Check the side stand kill switch if your bike has one. It kills the engine so that you don’t start out with the side stand down. If broken or out of adjustment, it would kill the spark. Check for a broken wire at the side stand switch and coupler. Try moving the kill switch by hand. If that doesn’t work then wire a jumper around the switch to bypass it. Check the fuses. How good is the battery? Try a jump start from your car battery. Is the handlebar kill switch on? Check the operation of the ignition switch and all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter. Install new spark plug.

If that doesn't do it, check the wiring harness. Did a wire come unplugged? Are all wires clean and with solid connections? Any abraded or pinched wires? Is the bike in neutral and the neutral light is lit up? If no neutral light, check the neutral switch and neutral switch wire on center casing. If still no spark, get CDI system and coils checked at the dealers shop. You can screw up a CDI unit checking it yourself.

2006 crf100 no spark

You have 2 basic possibilities,
  • A kill switch is active
  • The ignition control module has gone bad
The stock spark plug is an NGK CR7HSA. Is a kill switch on? Does the side stand have a kill switch? Is it working properly? Check the operation of all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter.

Check the wiring harness. Did a wire come unplugged? Are all wires clean and with solid connections? Any abraded or pinched wires? If still no spark, get CDI system checked at the dealers shop.

A top rating on this answer? Thanks!
