There will be a utility to find the codes for whatever you need, but you do need the model number of the device you are trying to find the codes for
1. turn on what ever you want set up 2. press and hold set up tell light blinks or stays lit 3. push what you are trying to set up t.v. or dvd ect. 4. push power on/off tell it turns off 5. push enter when it turns off I hope this helps :)

Go to any store that sells universal remotes, such as Walmart. The codes for different TVs are listed in any new universal remote control package. A new one only costs $10.00 or so anyway!
