Does anyone else have a problem with there PSP 3000 posting the "Do you want to quit?" screen during play? This happens a lot while playing Megaman Maverick Hunter X. Do I have a defective PSP? Or it just can't play this game?

psp 1000 (also known as the fat) are the original model that they came out with.
psp 2000 (also know as the slim) are the 2nd generation of the psp.
psp 3000 (also known as the new slim) are the 3rd generation of the psp.
depending on who you talk to or read some people say that the psp 2000 were the best of the models. psp 3000 have improvements over the 1000s n the 2000s in grfx but if you play a lot of games that are like the older classic games that are heavy on sprites the image looks doubled and blurry. but if you play new games like god of war and such you won't have that problem with the 3000 models. so i guess it depends on what type of games you play the most on it.
if you can... i say to wait till this holiday season when sony will release the vita. it is their next handheld machines and it looks incredible.

in my opinion psp go is much better because it is lighter and more portable and it gives you more memory

happened to me too buy a psp select strip for your psp model ie 1000 2000 3000 and replace strip. PROBLEM FIXED.

Your home button is stuck and needs to be free.
You have to open your PSP in the front face, and check the button and flex.

the psp 3000 is the hardest to hack, and the newer your firmware the harder it is. they have not released a hack for 6.35 yet. if you want more info google

you must first get the ULTIMATE ARMOR LEG PART. (in chill penguins stage.) then press circle. if that doesnt work then the problem is with the button on your unit.

bet you are playing on a slim, turn of the umd cache in system settings then the problem stops perhaps the game (driver 76) doesnt support the umd cache system using the extra ram in the psp slim
