hold "SET" untill the red light stays on (the light doesnt turn on at all by just touching it) once the red light stays on, press tv or whatever device you want to program, then put in the code. It took me all day to figure it out.
The RC64RB has more codes in it. Unfortunately, it is an extra $25. BUT, it is backlit, which is very cool at night. With my RC64RB, I get 16 codes to enter for your TV (Emerson HDTV).
