Will not boot to safe mode imac g4

Starting up in Safe Mode Follow these steps to start up into Safe Mode.
  1. Be sure your Mac is shut down.
  2. Press the power button.
  3. Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be pressed as soon as possible after startup, but not before the startup sound.
  4. Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo appear on the screen.
After the Apple logo appears, it may take longer than usual to reach the login screen. This is because your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode.
To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

How do i turn off safe mode on a samsung galaxy ace

Safe mode in Galaxy Ace s5830
To START "Safe Mode" use both hands to Press the Home Key (bottom centre) and then simultaneously Press BOTH the Power (right hand side) key, and the Volume-Up (left-hand side) key. When the Samsung Galaxy logo appears, release the sides' Power and Volume-Up keys but keep the Home key pressed. Safe Mode should come on shortly. SIMPLY DOING THIS SAME KEYING SEQUENCE, WHILE THE PHONE SHOWS "SAFE MODE" IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER OF THE SCREEN, SEEMS TO TURN THAT "SAFE MODE" OFF. Safe Mode prevents Third Party Apps running, apparently.

How do you put windows into safe mode?

Power on or Restart your computer, keep tapping F8 on the keyboard while it boots up. After few seconds, you'll be taken to the "Advanced Boot Options" with "Safe Mode" in the lists. Use the Up-Down arrow keys to highlight the "Safe Mode" and press enter on the keyboard to confirm the selected boot options. Black Screen with white texts will be displayed on the display, wait for few seconds until you see the windows logon Screen. You'll also see a confirmation message box asking you to confirm to boot into Safe Mode, click "yes" or "Ok" and proceed forward. There now you are in the Safe Mode.

Good luck.
