first you properly install the Web Cam Software, then you open the Yahoo messenger and again access the web cam. I hope it will work fine. sometimes yahoo messenger not access to Web Cam, that time yahoo messanger not working properly.
First please install the web cam drivers from the CD ROM given. Later connect the web cam to your PC via USB port. If you are using Yahoo Messenger..These are the steps :
Click Messenger and select "My Webcam". Or: Click the camera icon located on the IM window toolbar. Or: Click Contacts and select "Invite to View My Webcam".
Philips Webcam SPC110NC doesnt work with Yahoo Messenger as advertised. Packaging says it works with MSN/Yahoo/AIM, but when troubleshooting Yahoo IM using AMCAP.EXE (as per the Yahoo webcam help site), it shows color space/compression used by this product is MJPG and this is the only option. Yahoo IM only supports RGB 24, I420, or IYUV.
