Compact Inkjet IJ1200 printer

My printer has stalled. The printer light is constantly blinking. Can you help me?

Where can I find a download for a Compaq Printer IJ1200 with a Windows XP system? I currently have no CD drive available!

2 red lights are blinking!!!!!

is both the light blink the same time or blink alternate ? if blink the same time, it's probably a fatal error..
if blink alternately then the waste ink counter need to be reset and the waste ink pad need to be replaced.

Printer not working

1 Did you test the cartridge by dabbing it on a wet towel
to see if ink blots the towel
2. make sure the cartridge is seated and latched properly
3 Go to printers find your printer R click select properties
check to see if detect printer cartridge type is checked
make sure type of catridge is set (color or black)
4.Press the reset button
5. unplug the printer for about 15 minutes and plug it
back in
Try the above not neccessarily in the above order

Communication Error

This printer I suspect is a re-branded Lexmark similar to the Z series. There appears to be a firmware failure. I have a Z12 stripped on my bench right now- nothing there to repair.- Check with Compaq first of course but it reckon its time for the bin.
