The lock is set to 0-0-0 at the factory. Make sure the dials are rotated at 0-0-0 or any other code you've set before resetting it. Use a pen or something pointed to press the reset hole adjacent to the dials. Enter your new code by rotating the dials.
Usually the lock code is 0000 or the last 4 digits of your cell phone number. Go through your phone settings and security to change your lock code to a 4 digit number you will remember.

1.If the security is on phone then it can be rested, but the phone memory will
be cleared.
2. If the security is on SIM then you can call the customer care center then
they will provide you PIN after taking some basic info about your connection.
