First thing to do is assure that you have 110 power coming on both sides of the plug to give you the 220 that you need to run your machine if you do not then your heater will not work the next steps would require you to use a multimeter and do continuity test on the two relays the hi and the low as well as the heater to assure there is no malfunction with these electonic parts and lastly im not looking at your exact model but on whirlpools they do have also a run fuse that is located in the back under the rear panel and this would also ned to have a continuity test if your machine does have this in it please remember to rank this opinion and if you have any further questions please message me back thanks again '

The dryer blows cold air instead of hot air.

Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

Roper electric dryer keeps blowing thermal fuse. motor will not run when this happens.it is bypassed for the time being, but want it fixed immediately. Did clean completely dryer lint trap and air duct to...

Remove the lint chute and give that a good cleaning wash it and the filter out1f161fc.jpgCheck and see if the element is shorted to the frame. That will blow the fuse too.

Electric dryer blowing cold air

You either have a blown fuse, breaker, burned out element, wiring that has come loose. They all can be checked within 5 minutes. However, I believe it is in the thermal fuse which is located below the top of the dryer. You can access that pretty easy though. To check it, just bypass it and put the 2 wires together and see if it runs. The fuse is only 15 dollars or so. I am assuming you have an electric dryer.
