Replying to text message

They cant receive incoming text

I have a WM6.1 device, which has threaded SMS,and I can tell you that whenever a message is selected and displayed on-screen, there is a blank bar at the bottom of the screen, which, if the cursor is elsewhere, I just have to tap over that bar and start writing there, then tap on 'Send', in order to reply to that message.
Hope that your WM version behaves like that too.

ur inbox may be full

The only way 2 reply with out the original msg coming out is when u reply 2 a msg delete the orginal msg at the bottom and then start writing ur reply msg i think thts the only way u can do it.

i am told by a boost rep, that the phone takes a few days to find out who peoples networks are, if you notice, people who text u from boost show up in your "Inbox" with there number and contact name shown, with the top left button as reply, but if any anbody who is not on boost texts you, their text will go in a "SMS" box at the  bottom of your message center screen , with no number, contact name, or reply option, boost said this will fix itself in a matter of time.

there are a few reasons that could be causing this.

1. You may have changed the message center routing number.
* Go to messages - options - message setup - text messages - profile - SMS settings(should be check marked, if not select activate) - Customize
* The message center number should be +13123149810(plus must be entered....hold 0 key for plus)

2. Text messaging pay per use has been taken off your account. dial 611 from your phone or 1-866-246-4852 (after hours call 866-801-3600) from another phone for customer service. request pay per use to be added to your phone, or purchase a messaging plan.

These should cover it. Make sure to power you r phone off and on after any changes.

Absolutely yes! There is a way to do that...i know it's disgusting sometimes to see your previous messages and feels awkward right?!

So here's what you have to do:

-After clicking the Reply button, a text will appear where u will write your reply in and automatically the message that you are going to send a reply is also there. But because you don't want it there,so just click inside the text box where your text will be written.

-Press and hold Ctrl + A for select all (in your keyboard,if the text is already highlighted,let go of the Ctrl and A keys)

Or Highlight all the text or messages(s) inside the Text box.

-And press Delete or Backspace in your keyboard.

That's it, all unwanted text and messages is deleted and you can write and send your messages now without those.

Note: You have to do it everytime you reply because that's the settings of the mail provider that we users are not allowed to change!

your phones nackered mate take it back to where u got it from.

Click the ok button and then left scroll to:

"Messaging" screen
Scroll down to "Sent"
"OK"
this will give you all the messages you sent

Check in:
Menu,
Messages,
select -Options-
Settings,
Text Message,
Reply Via Same Centre (choose NO)
this might do the trick.
