Less coffee error message on my Delonghi Rialto. I removed the infuser assembly and cleaned it both in the plunged and retracted position to no avail. Do I need to remove the screen and clean inside there?

Usually it's a problem with microswich on top of the brewing plunger. If you are able to disassemble the coffeemachine you can change it.

If cleaning the infuser doesn't work, sometimes the error will go away over time or after you try to unplug from the wall. Finally, a system reset may help: you accomplish a hard reset by having the machine plugged in, pressing and holding down both the decalcify and ground coffee buttons, unplug the machine for 15 seconds (still holding down the buttons), then replugging the machine into the socket before releasing the buttons.

I donot see any error here. Can you reset the spring in the infuser once again. The process of cleaning that you have mentioned is correct or you can follow the steps mentioned bellow :

Please double check whether the cleaning was properly done. Whenever the machine tells you to clean it, which requires you to

- Mobile steam wand while
- opened the door
- the drip tray and trash along
- Dump Truck and clean all the drip tray and waste
- re-assembly

The infuser assembly can only be removed with the machine turned off. The infuser needs to be removed and cleaned at least monthly; more often if you use your DeLonghi at lot.

Did you try tightening the 2 hex screws behind the infuser?

Be gentle though. Mine felt tightend but thenIput just a bit more pessue on them and got an eigth to a quarter more turn out of them. Found this solution on this site

I have a perfecta and found that the mechanism that translates the infused up and down was jammed. I unplugged it and removed the back panel - two phillips screws - then you will see the motor and cog belt -BE SURE UNPLUGGED - I then turned the motor shaft using my index finger against the cog belt and with the access door open I could see the infuser translate down to a park position. I took it through an entire cycle which actually retracted the infuser and actuated the coffee grind sweep arm - there is a horizontal feature that looks like a sideways 'L' that seems to be a reference for the park location - since when the top of the infuser was at this mark the infuser unit could be removed and the infuser was in the compact configuration as described in the user manual. I am getting a general alarm still and would like to know if anyone could point me to an electrical schematic and functional sequence block diagram.
