Hi

Try and reset the player by inserting a pointed object inside the small hole(on tha back of the player), press and hold for 5-10 seconds to let the player reset. If this doesn't work then connect the player with the computer and let it charge for a while. Now go to control panel-> administrative tools-> computer management/system management-> storage, check if you are able to see the mp3 player here. If it is visible then try a reset and try again. If not then reset the player while it is connected with the system. This will resolve your issue.

Hope this helps...

Daniel

Use a toothpick to clean out the lint in the usb connector. If you use the mp3 player a lot without the cap lint will build up and cause misalignment when plugging it in the pc.

Samsung YP-U5 ipod installation problem

dont load crappy software that comes with these things,
windows generic usb storage device drivers works solidly.
just treat it like a flash drive, drag and drop your mp3s into the music folder.
and make sure its charged, i.e. leave it plugged into the computer for al least 30 mins

Cod-U5

U5–0: Fuser temperature dropped below specific temperature for more than 5 seconds.
U5–1: Zero crossing signal is not present

If a problem continues, check connection between MAIN PWB and LVPS. If no problems are
found, replace LVPS, MAIN PWB in sequence.
