How do you program a bearcat bc60xlt1 scanner

It works the same as all the old scanners a 178 manual will do also here is a link, just click on the blue user manual like under second pic.

You didn't mention what frequencies you're trying to program. BC148XLT coverage ends at 512 MHz, so you will get the error message if you try to program anything above that. Also, you must be sure to include the decimal point when programming a frequency into the scanner. I hope this helps.

I can't locate information specific to the 210XW, but hopefully this generic Bearcat programming info will help:

1. Press the MANUAL key to advance to the channel that you wish to reprogram.

2. Enter the new frequency, including decimal point.

3. Press the ENTER or E key.

4. Start over with step one to continue programming channels.
