My baby was playing with my samsung SCH-R600 when he some how put a lock code on it. Now, as soon as i open it, it wants a code. Please help!

OMG how frustrating searching and searching and one clear solution from figuring out unlock when stuck in nAM 2 mode on Samsung sch-u450 My ANSWer here is the BEST SOlution . First of all you know the default code will be the last four of the phones number yet this is unknown to you but you know that there is some random 4 digit number and at last resort start from 0000 , 0001 until you get to correct code . Don't worth there is no limits on how many times enter wrong code and it will never lock or brick permanently so hey eventually u will get the code that way...this was first approach HOWEVER I totally realized that this phone has a slide screen so slide that baby OPEN to get the Qwerty keyboard access okay SteP 1 PRess the backspace key in upper right hand corner on mines it's right next to the letter p preset backspace once then press the letter p right next to it u will see letter p in the call screen with an options menu DO NOt select there's not in that menu what u want to next is this STEP 2 press the function key very lower left bottom (fn) the press the message key which should be right above it with a pic of an envelope...... VOila you get a text message box!!!! And it is HERE you want to select options by pressing the very upper right orange arrow key scroll down to reveal option number 6 #Callback ## !!!!!! Select this and you will see a phone probably ALl zeros expect the last four which will be the unlock code!!!!! Yessssss baby that's right so dig out those phones and get to work!

you can enter the hard reset code but that will delete everything on the phone the code is *2767*3855#
The default code for the Samsung is 12345678

Hello,

I'm not sure if this will help but I would first try the last four digits of the phone number you saw in the phone. I would then try these , 1234, 0000 and the last four of your phone number.

Question: While activating with Metro did they instruct you to edit the NAm setting in the phone? If so,.. did you enter your phone number?

Question: You mentioned that there is a lock code. Do you see a lock code soon as you power the phone on? If so this is a user lock.
Or,.... do you see a lock code when attempting to edit the phone's NAM settings? This would be a subsidy lock.
