Check capacitor and burned wires if it has one if not
It will probably have to be replaced.
Have a service man to check before you replace it.

Code es error

Hi Kirby, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Error code ES and P1 are commonly referred to a sensor failure. Because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than the actual unit replacement. Is your appliance still in warranty? If so, you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the coverage on your air conditioner and the procedures to any potential remedy in that regard.

Best of luck!

I have taken case off of unit and it blows cold air but the fan is rubbing on frame

Usually caused by aging rubber fan motor mounts, worn fan motor bearings, the fan blade assembly slipping on the fan motor shaft, or a warped chassis. You can replace or eliminate rubber fan mounts cheaply. A slipped fan blade tends to need a simple position adjustment and tightening or replacement of the lock screw. Worn fan motor bearing or warped chassis are not so cheap to remedy, and since it's a lot easier and quicker to grind down the fan shroud until they no longer make contact, that's the route I tend to take.

Fan not working on outside AC unit

The buzzing noise is probably the fan motor. Is the compressor running? First make sure that there are no tripped breakers. After that kill the power and check the capacitor with a multimeter. If that checks good then check the fan motor windings with the multimeter. Let me know if you have any questions.

Blows room temperature air

Hello
Welcome to fixya.
I'm Huuum and happy to assist you

The air conditioning
unit works, but does
not cool the room

• window open
• there are heat sources in the room (burner,
lamp, etc)
• the exhaust hose is detached
• air filters clogged
• Inadequate size of the room (too large)
• close the window
• eliminate the heat source
• connect the exhaust hose
• clean or replace the filters
If all this dose not remedy the problem then you need to see service!
