The sd card is too small. It doesn't fit into my computer, it came with a little yellow thing to attach to it but it doesn't work on my computer. Help.

Hello akamacho,

It is possible that you have a "MicroSD card". Most card readers can not read micro sd cards because it is too small, so you will need an "adapter" to be the same size as a normal SD card and then you can use it on card readers. I am just assuming (because I can not see it) that the yellow thing you have is the adapter. Make sure the micro SD card is inserted into the adapter properly and make sure that your adapter is inserted properly into your card reader.

If it is still not working, tell me the brand and model of your computer or you card reader. Also indicate any markings you can read from your sd card and the little yellow thing.

You can rate my answer if you appreciate it.
Thanks!

What do i buy so i can attach my digi power dp-fcr20/ mini sd/ms duo card reader/writter so i can attach my mini sd to it and sorry if hard to understand

If the card-reader states it's for a mini-sd card, then you should just be able to insert the mini-sd card into one of the slots. However, some card readers double-up on slots by making it so more than one card-type can be inserted into the same slot. See if the mini-sd card can be put into one of the slots successfully. Tip: Read your manual before doing so, so you don't get card stuck in wrong slot.

How do i insert the 8b memory card in the memory card reader? i've tried it several ways and it does not light up??? i need a visual

The Dynex 5-in-1 Reader may be too old to read high capacity secure digital cards. (HCSD)
An 8 GB SD card is definitely going to be high capacity. Only the relatively newer SD readers can read the HCSDs.

Try putting in a 2 GB or lower size SD card and see if it works. If it does, then your card reader doesn't support higher capacity cards.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa.

I am trying to install a SanDisk SD Card and it won't go into the camera

There are standard SD, SD-Mini and SD-Micro cards. Therefore, all SD cards are not the same. Check your manual and make sure that you have the correct size. There should be a arrow/triangle on the card and your camera indicating how to insert the card. the end with the corner clipped off goes in first.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

DYNEX MODEL # DX-LTDVD19-09 WHEN WE INSERT A DVD

It sounds like the read head has gone bad. Not worth repairing. The repair cost will most likely exceed the replacement cost. You could ask a repair shop if they could fix it as a donation...

Dashboard light

if that "Circle" is a sort of round-bent arrow shape around "!" mark, you either have ASC or DSC disabled manually (by pressing the "DSC" button on your console", or there is a problem with the system.
Take your to the dealer. Specialized MINI/BMW computer should be able to diagnose it right away. Can be a costly repair

How to use the memory card reader

To access the memory card reader without using the software provided, follow the steps below. If no card is inserted, the green light on the card reader will be on.
Insert a memory card.
• Insert the card with the brand name label facing up.
• If there is an arrow on the card, make sure it points toward the printer.
• If needed, make sure you connect the memory card to the adapter that came with it before inserting it into
the slot.
Wait for the light located to the right of the slots on the printer to come on. The light blinks to indicate the memory
card is being read or is transmitting data.
• The printer recognizes one memory card at a time. If you insert more than one memory card, a message appears
on the display prompting you to remove all memory cards inserted.
• If a USB flash drive is inserted together with the memory card, a message appears on the display prompting you
to choose which memory device to use.
When reading of images is complete, the number of photos found appears on the display. Then you can make your selection and print. these are the types of memory card supported by you printer.
