You dont say what operating version of windows you have
If you are using XP or VIsta you can try to boot to safe mode. That means that when you start it, start tapping f8 right away and see if you get a menu that lists startup options. If you do, select safe mode and see if it boots. If this does not work, then you might be getting beep codes. IF you are please list what they are.
1. If you arent getting beeps and the unit wont start then you need to start taking things off the computer. That means everything! Take key board and the mouse and all the cards except the video card and see if it will boot. IF it wont then you need to remove the ram and the drives and see if it will boot. If it wont boot then you are looking at the motherboard, the CPU or the Power supply. The power supply is the most likly culprit and it is the cheapest to replace. You can take it out and take to someplace to have it tested.

Help me, dish network hd monitor, model 34-310. made in 2004. wont turn on,on button blinks and attempts to,turn on but screen remains blank. tries three times and blinks a green light. no picture,no sound....

It is the right age for failure---IF you are able look inside at the power supply for bad caps---I will attach photos of what to look for.

The three tries is what is called a three strikes and you are out (no joke)----the unit has built into it (many do) a feature where it will try 3 times to make it up and on and if fails shuts down or stops trying.

My Olympus Tough turns on but immediately starts beeping for 10 seconds then shuts off. It does this over and over.

Your rechargeable battery is no longer serviceable. You need to replace it with a new battery. This camera uses one Olympus lithium ion battery*. No
other type of batteries can be used.
* TG-310: LI-42B
TG-610: LI-50B
Caution:
There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with the incorrect battery type.
If you would like the manual, please send me an email to [email protected] and I will send it to you right away. Please put "Olymp TG-310" as the subject. Lawrence Brown

Xerox work center 7132 will not boot up. error code (092-310). It says shut down printer and turn it back on. but i did that cuople of times still the same error code. it says contact service if error...

Try to unplug the device directly from the socket wall and leave it for 5min. Plug in again. If message still occour it could be related to 2 reasons.
1. Sensor problem leading to "ghost" message -- require eng.
2. Toner replacement also causes this message.

Even if you do couple of boot routines you might want to have someone onsite to have a look at it. It might require parts.

Toshiba Satellite A55-S306 doesn't come out of hybernation

Turn the PC on, when it is booting up, keep hitting "F8" until windows boot options come up, choose "Safe Mode" and then once it boots into safe mode fully, go to the start menu and choose shut down. After it shuts down, turn it back on and it should go back into normal mode. From now on, don't use Hibernate, its buggy and has been since XP.

Hi - You can download the manual by clicking the link underlined in blue below:

AVR 310

You're right this is a complicated beast to set up! I suggest you go through the manual & follow the setup guides there.

Possibly the unit has been muted via the remote control?

Power on

This sounds like it could be a faulty laptop battery. I would suggest plugging the system into AC power and then remove the laptop battery from the system. If the system boots then the issue is with the battery. If the laptop still does not boot, next thing to check would be to make sure that the hard drive is seated completely in the drive bay. Sometimes the hard drives can work themselves loose from moving around. By opening the drive cover and pulling the drive out and then reseating back into its slot can sometimes resolve the issue as well.
