I wonder if you have a keyboard issue. Most times the constant beeping means the keyboard is bad, but it doesn't normally boot or revert back to 5 or 4 beeps.
constant beeping sound is usually a key on the keyboard that is stuck. If it is not constant, like long, short, long beeps, that may indicate a problem. Let me know it is is constant or a beep code.
Computers beeps are caused by the
power supply, system board, graphics/video card or keyboard. Reboot your system with out the keyboard if it no longer beeps your problem is a couple of stuck keys on the keyboard. If the beeping continues remove your graphics card and reboot your system. If your pc still beeps the it is either your power supply or the system board.
a constant beep indicates either a power supply, motherboard or keyboard problem.
If you know what you are doing then open up the case (turning off the power first of course and earth yourself by touching the case before anything inside it) and make sure all the connecters are seated properly and try a different keyboard if you have one.
