No spray is needed. just strip down removable parts, use brush and vacuum the shaver with vacuum cleaner at max suction. After that clean removable parts with cloth dipped in alcohol from pharmacy store.

Bought Braun 790cc shaver. Came with the cleaning station. The cleaning station doesn't dry the shaver. Can i fix the problem myself or i have to take it to a service centre?

Doesn't it clean with an alcohol type solution? Once cleaning has finished and is no longer being pumped through the head, by the time your next shave is due the following day the residue will have evaporated from the shaving head

How do I clean a Braun 4005

Model 4005 is NOT water resistant and definitely should not be cleaned under water. However, you may remove the foil and cutter and wash only those parts in water.
Contrary to the popularity of 'washable' shavers, cleaning them with water is not a great way to clean them. You will find much better results if you soak them in a little rubbing alcohol and then brushing them off.

Parts for model 4005 can be found at shaveroutlet.com at the link below

How can I clean my braun washable series 3 (330) shaver. better. I can take it apart so far but just cant get under the blades

This model uses a 'shaving cassette'. The blades can not be removed from the foil assembly. Braun's instruction is to simply rense the shaving head under hot running tap water. Unfortunately, this does not work very well over time due to the poor design of these parts. Once they become clogged up it is usually necessary to replace the cartridge.
If replacement is needed you will find one at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

I have the Braun 360° Complete 8985 Electric Shaver, and ive learned that it is pritty much gonna keep being a money hole. Can any one suggest a self cleaning brand that is more reliable?

The self-cleaning shavers are all much more expensive to maintain than traditional non-self-cleaning shavers. Your model 8985 is not inherantly more expensive to maintain than any other self cleaning model by Braun or other brand. The cleaning solution is expensive, the cleaning machines break because of exposure to liquid, and the heads often wear out faster as well.
Because of this, I strongly suggest you buy a shaver without a self cleaning machine. Most models that do not include self cleaning machines are very easy to clean with an old toothbruh dipped in rubbing alcohol. If you liked the way the Braun shaved when it was in good condition, I would suggest the following models linked below as possibilities

Not shaving close enough.

This problem is usually cause by a worn out shaving head (foil and cutters). Braun suggests that you change these every 12-18 months for best performance. You will find replacements at shaveroutlet.com for your model 4501 Braun shaver. See link below.

http://shaveroutlet.com/foil-cutter-fit-braun-4000-series-flex-control-twin-control-p-146.html

It is also possible that your shaver is running too slowly due to an old battery if you've never replaced it. If you require a new battery, it can also be ordered from shaveroutlet.com. See link below.

http://shaveroutlet.com/shaver-replacement-battery-aa-nimh-p-108.html

To change the battery you will need to be able to do a little soldering. Open the shaver by removing the two round screw covers on the bottom of the shaver and then the screws underneath. You will also need to remove the foil and cutters and then the swivel frame which is attached by two tiny screws. Once removed, you will be able to open the shaver from the bottom and seperate the front and back. Remove the circuit board to easily get to the battery.
Note: The tabs on this type battery will work for most applications however they may be slightly different than some original equipment. For these instances, it is sometimes suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather that removing them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can them solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs
