Tripping can be due to over current drawn by the compressor .This can happen due to lower voltage prevailing during that period (due to several other electrical appliances being connected on the same circuit etc). The condensing unit may be accidentally covered by an obstruction (eg cloth, carpets, polythene film etc).also it can happen due to the out door unit (condesing unit) fans not working .Check the cool gas line from evaporator(cooling coil) to the (out door ) condensing unit.If this with an ice covering check your return air filter for excess dirt and correct it. ask the service man for the running current reading he got and compare it with that on the name plate ..Best you ask him to fix ammeter and take readings at regular intervals through out the day. That will give an indication. The circuit breaker itself may be defective. The amp test above will tell you that too.

At times it starts and runs fine. Then at times it starts and stops because the circut breaker in my house has been tripped.

Check the amp rating on the circuit breaker. It's probably 15 amps. Find another line with a 20 amp breaker, and see if it still trips.

I would suggest looking at the heating element for current leakage

Breaker keeps tripping

If you can unplug the central vac and plug it into a different outlet that you know is on a different breaker and test it out to see if it trips the breaker,or temporarily rewire the central vac to a different power supply.Make sure the breaker is the correct amperage for the central vac, last read the instructions to see if you need a dedicated circuit breaker, you might have to many accessories plugged into that outlet.

The Reset button on cord keeps tripping, when turned on it works for a minute then trips again

There's obviously there is a short or electrical overheating problems omewhere in the appliance that's causing the circuit breaker (Reset Button) to trip. Stop using the AC unit and have it checked by a professional.

I keep reseting my 15 amp breaker daily. I even moved the unit.

No. The unit is only supposed to pull 9.1 amps. (wattage divided by voltage equals amps) Your unit has a short, or your breaker is bad. Turn on the unit, when it trips the breaker see if the breaker is hot, If so, thats an indication the breaker is bad.

Unit comes on and runs for 5 minutes, the circuit trips off

30 is the correct size breaker for this unit. It sounds like there is a grounding issue going on in the system. Or off of the Thermostat. Something is grounding out causing the switch to trip. Are you running #10 wire to breaker and the unit? If not you will need to increase your wire size

Tripping BreakerS

Same problem as both above. Humidifier trips after maybe 5 minutes. Top of machine is very warm; there's no on/off switch, so plugging in does nothing until the heat dissapates. What's the solution, to just buy a new piece of equipment?

Circut breakers

Is it after it has ran for a while or tripping every time it comes on? If after it runs awhile check your wire tightness at the breaker and at the unit. Loose wiring will heat up a braker and trip it. Also check to see that the rating of the unit and the breaker are matched.
