How do I download photos from dig camera to mp3

  • YourZEN

Hello, Transferring photos directly from camera to a Sansa Fuze won't work. First transfer photos from your camera to a computer: use the software that came with the camera to put pictures on your computer. Next, use the software for the Sansa Fuze to get the photos in the correct size for the media player and finally transfer them.

You need to use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert and transfer photos (and videos) to a format the Sansa can handle.

I am not able to download, or take, or delete pictures from my memory cards. I need to do so so I can start them over again. What do i do

Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for:

You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're inexpensive.
The reason this occurred is that you likely never formatted the card. The card will work fine in the beginning but eventually will corrupt. AFTER you've recovered the photos, format the card in your camera to prevent this from happening again (dig out that instruction manual to figure out how). Keep in mind formatting will also totally erase your card, so again only do this after you've recovered the photos.

I an a 48 yr old female who the dumb idea to buy a dig. camera. now i dont even have a clue how to operate it or how to get to the directions on the disc. ready to just return and buy a normal camera

Don't give up just yet, the manual, if you have it helps, a lot. If it came with a set up disc, install it on your computer so you can learn about the camera and how to download your photos. If no disk, go to their website for more info.
If it has an auto mode on it, that should work for most photos.
Ask the same question over but put in the make and model# so someone can help you.

How to get back deleted photos?

Hello

My apologies if this message finds you long after posting this problem , but I am currently working through a backlog of problems that never got answered and hopefully this info can still be of use if not now possibly in future.

Please download Disc Digger HERE. This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.

Once you have connected the memory card to the computer via either the camera or preferably with a usb card reader , run the program.

On the program , select the dig deep option for accidentaly deleted files or dig deeper for a formatted card. Then select the card you want to do the recovery on and run the program.

The data will be displayed and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has not been used since the pictures were lost. Save the files to a location on the computer hard drive and not back to the memory card as this will overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.

Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.

Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.

Kind Regards
Andrea

Can I install/point to Dig Camera w/o installation disk?

You don't need to install anything.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
