Jenn-Air electric double wall oven Model JJW9630DDS
Oven lights stay on. Repair guy said cleaning the ovens would remedy this, but it didn't. Oven doors just don't close, and I am constantly pushing them closed in a mostly futile attempt to shut off the oven lights. Have even resorted to taping the light switches closed, but that doesn't work either.
Most of these I have seen have to have the hinges and recievers replaced to get the doors to close properly and keep the light off.

Bosch model shu9905 over doors would not close. Repairman came to house and looked at the oven, phoned Bosch in California who rrecommended he change the hinges. Repairman orderded two new hinges $310.00 with 3 hours labour to install at $237.00 and 1 hour for first visit $79.00... When he removed the right hinge to replace it all it was was a spring that probably cost 3$ but he said they don t sell just the spring... Am sure that spring could have been found somewhere and saved hundreds of dollars in repairs....
Oven light never goes off. COntinuously shutting door and trying new ways to shut door. Never works tried oiling, cleaning, looking at hinges but nothing works
